OSI Systems, Inc., together with its subsidiaries, is a vertically integrated designer and manufacturer of specialized electronic systems and components for critical applications. The Company sells its products in diversified markets, including homeland security, healthcare, defense and aerospace. The Company has three operating divisions. Through its Security division, the Company designs, manufactures and markets security and inspection systems worldwide to end users under the Rapiscan Systems trade name. The Healthcare division designs, manufactures and markets patient monitoring, diagnostic cardiology and anesthesia delivery and ventilation systems worldwide to end users under the Spacelabs trade name. The Optoelectronics and Manufacturing division designs, manufactures and markets optoelectronic devices and provide electronics manufacturing services worldwide for use in a range of applications. On July 28, 2009, the Company acquired certain assets of RAD Electronics, Inc.
