Amcor Limited is an Australia-base packaging company. The Company offers solutions for the packaging industry. The Company operates in four segments: Amcor Rigid Plastics, Amcor Australasia and Packaging Distribution, Amcor Flexibles and Other/Investments. The Company's subsidiaries include Amcor Packaging (Australia) Pty Ltd, Amcor Packaging (New Zealand) Ltd, Amcor Rigid Plastics USA, Inc. and Amcor Packaging Distribution, Inc. In March 2012, it announced the acquisition of Uniglobe. On May 11, 2012, it acquired Aperio Group. On July 3, 2012, it acquired Wayne Richardson Sales, an independently owned packaging and industrial distributor with eight distribution centers across Australia. On July 17, 2012, it acquired Aluprint. On 2 July 2012, it acquired a tobacco packaging plant in Piso, Argentina. On April 1, 2012, it acquired an additional interest in the Amcor Chengdu Co. Limited. In October 2012, the Company sold three flexible packaging plants in Australasia.
