United Bancorp, Inc. (United) is a bank holding company. United serves as the holding company for United Bank & Trust (the Bank). The Company has four primary lines of business under one operating segment of commercial banking: banking services, residential mortgage, wealth management and structured finance. As of December 31, 2012, the Company provided services through the Bank's system of seventeen banking offices, one trust office, one loan production office and 21 automated teller machines, located in Washtenaw, Lenawee, Livingston and Monroe Counties, Michigan. The Bank offers a range of services to individuals, corporations, fiduciaries and other institutions. Banking services include checking accounts, negotiable order of withdrawal (NOW) accounts, savings accounts, time deposit accounts, money market deposit accounts, safe deposit facilities and money transfers.
