OPOWER, INC. (Opower) is a provider of cloud-based software. The Company�s software solutions are used by utilities to deliver key customer-facing applications that reduce energy demand. Its software analyzes energy data and presents insights to consumers in order to achieve reductions in energy consumption that is valued as a source of energy. The Company offers four main products: Opower Energy Efficiency that focuses on reducing energy consumption through a data analytics-driven, behavioral science-informed program; Opower Customer Engagement; Opower Demand Response, aimed at reducing peak demand for energy while not requiring any hardware installations to function, and Opower Thermostat Management, which is designed to interact with third-party hardware.
