PepsiAmericas, Inc. (PepsiAmericas) manufactures, distributes and markets a portfolio of beverage products in the United States (U.S.), Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and the Caribbean and has also expanded its distribution to include snack foods in certain markets. The Company sells a variety of brands that it bottles under licenses from PepsiCo, Inc. (PepsiCo) or PepsiCo joint ventures, which accounted for approximately 80 % of its total net sales during the fiscal year ended January 3, 2009 (fiscal 2008). PepsiAmericas accounted for approximately 19 % of all PepsiCo beverage products sold in the United States. In some territories, it manufactures, packages, sells and distributes products under brands licensed by companies other than PepsiCo, and in some territories it distributes its own brands, such as Sandora, Sadochok and Toma.
