Platinum Communications Corporation (Platinum) is a Canada-based company. Platinum provides fixed wireless high-speed wireless Internet services to urban communities, towns and rural communities. Platinum�s base includes residential, small office and home office subscribers, and line-of-sight technology for small business and industrial users, multi-residential dwelling units, schools and governments. The Company builds dedicated and symmetrical fixed wireless gateway solutions ranging from 1 megabit per second to 300 megabits per second. Platinum�s business solutions include Internet gateway solutions and data networking solutions. The Company has over 122 access points, serves more then 170 communities and covers 65,000 square kilometers. Residential Internet subscribers make up 96.5% of its overall customer base contributing 86.3% of its revenue. In March 2013, it completed the acquisition of Community Networks Ltd., o/a eFirehose, a regional wireless Internet services provider.
