Peak Energy Services Trust (the Trust) is an energy services organization operating in western Canada and the mid-west United States. Through its various operating divisions, the Trust provides drilling and production services to its customers both in the conventional oil and natural gas industry, as well as the oil sands regions of western Canada. The Trust also provides water technology solutions to a variety of customers in North America. Drilling services includes solids control, well-site accommodations, camps and catering, and remote waste water systems. Production services include fluids handling, wireline services and production equipment. The Company’s water technology division offers water and waste water treatment design, and fabrication services. On August 15, 2008, the Trust acquired the 942857 Alberta Ltd., 942859 Alberta Ltd., and Amwest Transport Ltd. (collectively referred to as Amwest). In July 2009, the Trust sold all of its wireline assets.
