PowerShares Dynamic Financial Sector Portfolio (the Fund) seeks investment results that correspond to the Dynamic Financial Sector Intellidex Index (the Index). The Fund will invest at least 90% of its total assets in common stocks that comprise the Index. The Index comprises stocks of 60 United States financial services companies. These are companies that are principally engaged in the business of providing services and products, including banking, investment services, insurance and real estate finance services. Stocks are selected principally on the basis of their capital appreciation potential as identified by New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) Arca (the Index Provider). The Fund will invest at least 80% of its total assets in common stocks of financial services companies. The Fund’s investment adviser is Invesco PowerShares Capital Management LLC.
