Anglo American Platinum Limited (Amplats), formerly Anglo Platinum Limited, is a producer of platinum group metals (PGMs). The Company�s wholly owned South African mining operations include the Bathopele, Dishaba, Khomanani, Khuseleka, Mogalakwena, Siphumelele, Thembelani and Tumela mines. During the year ended December 31, 2011, the Company�s Twickenham Platinum Mine was under development. The Company�s holding company is Anglo South Africa Capital (Proprietary) Limited (ASAC), which holds 79.66% interest in the Company.
