Alloy Steel International, Inc. (ASII) manufactures and distributes Arcoplate, a wear-resistant alloy overlay wear plate produced through a patented process. The Company manufactures and distributes Arcoplate with its wholly owned subsidiaries, Alloy Steel Australia (Int.) Pty Limited (ASAI), Alloy Steel North America LLC (ASNA) and majority owned subsidiary, Alloy Steel Mongolia LLC (ASM). The process, by which the Company manufactures Arcoplate enables ASII to apply an alloy overlay to a sheet of steel, creating a metallurgical bond between the alloy and the steel backing plate that is resistant to wear caused by impact and/or abrasion. Arcoplate is manufactured in a range of grades and thicknesses designed for specific applications. The Company also provides technical consultation services to customers and their design engineers.
