British Airways Plc is an international scheduled airline. The main activity of British Airways Plc and its subsidiary undertakings are the operation of international and domestic scheduled air services for the carriage of passengers, freight and mail and the provision of ancillary services. The Company’s principal place of business is London with presence at Heathrow, Gatwick and London City. The Company also operates a worldwide air cargo business in conjunction with its scheduled passenger services. Operating an international scheduled airline route networks, together with its codeshare and franchise partners, the Company flies to more than 300 destinations worldwide. Effective January 21, 2011, Iberia Lineas Aereas de Espana SA, BA Holdco, S.A. (BA Holdco) and International Consolidated Airlines Group, S.A. (IAG) merged. In January 2011, BA Holdco became the holding company of British Airways Plc.
