The Saint James Company is a development-stage company. The Company is entered into agreements to acquire and distribute wines produced in Australia and New Zealand. In December of 2005, The Company acquired certain animation cell art with the intention of engaging in a marketing and licensing business. During the year ended December 31, 2008, the Company does not have active business operations. On October 21, 2008, the Company entered into a Heads of Agreement (the Neqtar HOA) with Neqtar Wines PTY LTD (Neqtar), pursuant to which Neqtar and the Company agreed on certain potential terms of a potential future transaction. Effective as of March 18, 2009, the Company entered into a multi-party agreement to acquire the capital stock or assets of three New Zealand wineries: Lawson Dry Hills, Waimea Estates, and Gravitas Wines. In November 2009, the Company acquired Sapphire Wines, LLC, owner of the Eos Estate Winery and Vineyards in Paso Robles, California.
