The Company, through its subsidiary, Shandong Zhouyuan Seed and Nursery Co., Ltd., is engaged in the business of developing, distributing and selling agricultural seeds in People�s Republic of China. Its primary product is corn seed, including both corn intended for forage and corn with a high starch content for use in industrial food production. In addition, Zhouyuan markets varieties of wheat seeds and cabbage seeds. The Company operates in two business segments that are determined based upon differences in products and services. Zhouyuan�s seeds are Corn - Huiyaun, Corn - New Yeden 4, Corn - White Prince and Wheat - Zhouyuan 9369. Corn - White Prince seed produces white, fresh taste corn. It produces spring queen and laibai 55 chinese cabbage. As of December 31, 2011, it derived its revenue primarily from the sale of various branded conventional seeds and branded seeds biotechnology traits.
