Las Vegas Railway Express, Inc. (Las Vegas Railway) is a development-stage company, which focuses on developing passenger rail transportation and ancillary ticketing and reservation services between the Los Angeles area and Las Vegas, Nevada. The Company's plan is to establish a rail passenger train service between Las Vegas and Los Angeles. The development concept is to provide a Las Vegas style experience on the train, which would traverse the planned route in approximately five hours. The Company business plan is to re-establish a conventional passenger train service between the Las Vegas and Los Angeles metropolitan areas. The Company entered into an arrangement with AMTRAK in connection with its goal of reinstating passenger rail service on the Las Vegas/Los Angeles rail corridor. On October 12, 2012, the Company acquired two additional Bi-Level passenger railcars for its X Train project.
