Photronics, Inc. (Photronics) is a manufacturer of photomasks, which are high precision photographic quartz plates containing microscopic images of electronic circuits. Photomasks are a key element in the manufacture of semiconductors and flat panel displays (FPD), and are used as masters to transfer circuit patterns onto semiconductor wafers and flat panel substrates during the fabrication of integrated circuits (IC) and a range of FPDs and, to a lesser extent, other types of electrical and optical components. The Company operates principally from ten manufacturing facilities, two of which are located in the United States, three in Europe, two in Taiwan, and one each in Korea, Singapore and China.
