Description

Progress Software Corporation is a global software company that simplifies the development, deployment and management of business applications. The Companys products provide leading solutions for rapid application development, broad data integration and efficient data analysis. The Companys products are sold as perpetual licenses, but certain products and business activities also use term licensing models and its new Progress Pacific platform offering uses a subscription based model. More than half of its worldwide license revenue is realized through relationships with indirect channel partners, principally application partners and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Application partners are independent software vendors that develop and market applications using its technology and resell its products in conjunction with sales of their own products that incorporate its technology. OEMs are companies that embed the Companys products into their own software products or devices.
