PowerShares Dynamic Software Portfolio (the Fund) seeks investment results that correspond to the equity index named the Dynamic Software Intellidex Index (the Index). The Fund will normally invest at least 80% of its total assets in common stocks of software companies. The Fund will normally invest at least 90% of its total assets in common stocks that comprise the Index. The Index comprises stocks of 30 United States software companies. These are companies that are principally engaged in the research, design, production or distribution of products or processes that relate to software applications and systems, and information-based services. Stocks are selected principally on the basis of their capital appreciation potential as identified by New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) Arca (the Index Provider). The Fund’s investment adviser is Invesco PowerShares Capital Management LLC.
