As of December 31, 2008, the Company operated from over 110 locations, including 38 auction sites, in more than 25 countries worldwide. Ritchie Bros. sells, through unreserved public auctions, a range of used and unused industrial assets, including equipment, trucks and other assets utilized in the construction, transportation, agricultural, material handling, mining, forestry, petroleum and marine industries. During the year ended December 31, 2008, the Company conducted 193 unreserved industrial auctions at locations in North America, Europe, the Middle East, South East Asia and Australia.
