The wheels of the steel industry keep on turning for Severstal Wheeling. The company is a part of the North American operations of Russian steel giant Severstal and makes cold- and hot-rolled sheet steel and coated steel products. With both a traditional blast furnace as well as an electric arc furnace in place and five production facilities in Ohio and West Virginia, the company possesses a production capacity of more than 4 million tons annually. Its products serve multiple industries and are used to manufacture pipe and tubing, automotive parts, and construction materials. Severstal sold its Wheeling operations to The Renco Group in 2011.
