The Company provides marketing solutions to its advertisers that generate ready-to-buy consumers for their local businesses. It provides local search solutions to consumers deliver relevant search results through a variety of print and online media platforms. The Company publishes and distributes advertiser content utilizing its own Dex brand and three of the brands in the industry, Qwest, Embarq, and AT&T. As of December 31, 2008, the Company’s subsidiaries include R.H. Donnelley Inc., Dex Media, Inc. and Business.com, Inc. In May 2009, the Company and its subsidiaries filed voluntary petitions for reorganization under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
