Rome Bancorp, Inc. (Rome Bancorp) is a stock holding company for The Rome Savings Bank (Rome Savings or the Bank). Rome Bancorp's principal business is to hold the capital stock of Rome Savings. Rome Savings is a community and customer-oriented retail savings bank that offers traditional deposit products, residential real estate mortgage loans, and consumer, commercial and commercial real estate loans. In addition, Rome Savings purchases securities issued by the United States Government and government agencies, municipal securities, mortgage-backed securities, and other investments permitted by applicable laws and regulations.
