The Company operates in three segments: Energy, Planning & Development and Environmental management. The Energy segment provides consultancy services on an international basis to the oil and gas industries from bases in the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Australia, Malaysia and Singapore. Within the planning & development business the Company provides consultancy services in respect of town and country planning, building, landscape and urban design, transport planning and environmental assessment. The Company’s environmental management business provides consultancy services in respect of health, safety and water management. In July 2009, RPS Group plc completed the acquisition of Conics Ltd.
