Restaurant Technologies, Inc. (RTI) regularly strikes oil. The company provides oil-management equipment and supplies to restaurants and other foodservice operations, specializing in its MaxLife system for handling and disposing of used cooking oil. It also offers oil-disposal services to cart away used frying oil. In turn, it distributes clean cooking oil and other supplies to more than 20,000 customers from facilities in 40-plus metropolitan areas. RTI's Global Tier division markets equipment for monitoring restaurant kitchen equipment, such as walk-in coolers and fryers. In 2011 Swedish investor EQT Infrastructure acquired the company from Parthenon Capital Partners and ABS Capital Partners.
