Canandaigua National Corporation is a bank holding company, which provides financial solutions to individuals and small businesses. The financial services company structure serves as a means of increasing the scope of banking and financial services in the market area served by The Canandaigua National Bank and Trust Company (the Bank). The Company has four segments: the Company and its banking and Florida trust subsidiaries (Bank), CNB Mortgage Company (CNBM), Genesee Valley Trust Company (GVT) and WBI OBS and subsidiaries (OBS). The Bank is a majority owner in a real estate investment trust (REIT), which invests in a portion of the Bank's amortizing residential real estate loans, and a portion of the Bank's amortizing commercial real estate loans. The Bank also owns CNB Mortgage Company. The Company's principal operating subsidiaries are the Bank and Genesee Valley Trust Company. On November 30, 2011, the Company acquired a majority interest in WBI OBS Financial, LLC (WBI).
