Chinook Energy Inc. is engaged in the business of exploration, development, and production of natural gas, crude oil, and natural gas and liquids reserves in Canada and crude oil reserves in Tunisia, North Africa. The Company�s has three segments: Canada; Tunisia and Corporate. Canada includes the Company�s Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin producing properties and undeveloped land located in northwestern Alberta and northeastern British Columbia. Tunisia includes eight blocks totaling around 2.6 million gross acres located offshore in the Gulf of Hammamet within the Pelagian and onshore within the Ghadames Basin. Corporate includes general and administrative costs in Canada and assets held corporately. The Company�s wholly-owned subsidiary is Storm Ventures International (BVI) Limited. Chinook�s principal Western Canadian properties are in Grande Prairie, Peace River Arch and Other operating areas, which include plains and West Central district.
