iShares MSCI Japan Small Cap Index Fund (the Fund) seeks to provide investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance as represented by the MSCI Japan Small Cap Index (the Index). The Index targets 40% of the eligible small-cap universe within each industry group in the MSCI Japan Index, which consists of stocks traded primarily on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. MSCI defines the small-cap universe as all listed securities that have a market capitalization in the range of $200 to $1,500 million. The Fund’s investment advisor is BlackRock Fund Advisors.
