Forestal Constructora y Comercial del Pacifico Sur SA (Pasur) is a Chile-based investment company that, through its affiliates, is engaged in the forestry, wood processing, energy and fishing sectors. The Company’s main investment is the 19.22%-owned affiliated Empresas CMPC SA, which is primarily involved in the paper industry and its activities are structured in five business areas: Forestry, Cellulose, Paper, Tissue and Paper Products. As of December 31, 2008, the Company also held interests in Coindustria Ltda, Sardelli Investment SA, Forestal Cominco SA, Inversiones Coillanca Ltda, Viecal SA, Cominco SA, Puerto de Lirquen SA and Forestal y Pesquera Callaqui SA, as well as a minority interest in Colbun SA and Bicecorp SA. In addition, the Company is a 35.25%-owned affiliate of Forestal O Higgins SA.
