Minco PLC (Minco) is a United Kingdom-based company. The Company is engaged in exploration and development of precious and base metals. It focuses on Zinc exploration in Ireland and silver projects in Mexico. Minco’s 23.6% jointly controlled Pallas Green operation with Xstrata Zinc, covers exploration totaling 294 square kilometres. Drilling resulted in the discovery of three sulphide lenses at Tobermalug, Caherconlish South and Srahane West. Minco through its subsidiary Xtierra Inc., owns the Bilbao and Laguna projects based in Zacatecas, Mexico. The Bilbao project is a polymetallic sulphide and oxide prospect and the Laguna tailings project is a silver-gold-mercury tailings reprocessing project. Its subsidiaries include Minco Ireland Limited, Westland Exploration Limited, Norsub Limited, Xtierra Inc. and Orca Gold Corporation International Limited.
