SemGroup Energy Partners, L.P. (SemGroup Energy Partners) owns, operates and develops a portfolio of midstream energy assets. The Company provides integrated terminalling, storage, processing, gathering and transportation services for companies engaged in the production, distribution and marketing of crude oil and liquid asphalt cement. SemGroup Energy Partners manages its operations through three operating segments: crude oil terminalling and storage services, crude oil gathering and transportation services and asphalt services. The Company owns and operates two pipeline systems, the Mid-Continent system and the Longview system, that gather crude oil purchased by the private company and its other customers and transports it to refiners, to common carrier pipelines for ultimate delivery to refiners or to terminalling and storage facilities owned by the Company and others.
