Shengtai Pharmaceutical, Inc. (Shengtai) through its direct and indirect subsidiaries in China, manufactures and distributes glucose and starch as pharmaceutical raw materials, other starch products and other glucose products, such as corn meals, food and beverage glucose and dextrin. The Company's primary business operations are conducted in the People's Republic of China. Shengtai manufactures products in three categories: raw materials for pharmaceutical and medicinal companies or purposes, raw materials for the food and beverage industries and other products. Approximately 49.08% of its revenues during the fiscal year ended June 30, 2010 (fiscal 2010), were attributable to sales of glucose products. Approximately 26.43% of its sales revenues for fiscal 2010 were attributable to sales of starch products.
