Shenandoah Telecommunications Company (Shenandoah) is a diversified telecommunications holding company that, through its operating subsidiaries, provides both regulated and unregulated telecommunications services to end user customers and other communications providers in the southeastern United States. The Company offers a range of voice, video and data communications services based on the products and services provided by the Company’s operating subsidiaries. This market area includes parts of Virginia ranging from Harrisonburg in the south to Winchester in the north. Shenandoah offers many of its services over its own fiber optic network of approximately 756 miles as of December 31, 2008. The Company provides integrated voice, video and data communications services to end user customers and other communications providers. Shenandoah operates in five reportable segments: PCS, Telephone, Mobile, Cable TV and Other.
