ShoreTel, Inc. (ShoreTel) is a provider of Internet protocol (IP) unified communications systems for enterprises. The Company’s systems are based on its distributed software architecture and switch-based hardware platform, which enable multi-site enterprises to be served by a single system. ShoreTel’s solution consists of ShoreGear switches, ShorePhone IP telephones and ShoreWare software applications. The Company provides its systems to enterprises across all industries, including to small, medium and large companies, and public institutions. Its enterprise customers include multi-site large companies. As of June 30, 2008, ShoreTel had sold its IP unified communications systems to close to 8,000 enterprise customers.
