Description

SL Green Realty Corp., incorporated on June, 10, 1997, is a self-managed real estate investment trust (REIT), with in-house capabilities in property management, acquisitions, financing, development, construction and leasing. As of December 31, 2012, its Manhattan office properties were comprised of 21 fee owned properties, including ownership in commercial condominium units, and six leasehold owned properties. In July 2012, the Company and its joint venture partners sold One Court Square in Long Island City, New York. On November 22, 2012, the Company and its partner Westcore Properties sold Jersey Property Unit Trust (JPUT). In December 2012, the Company acquired the non-performing mortgage loan secured by the property at 315 Park Avenue South, New York. During 2012, the Company acquired 12 properties. During 2012, the Company sold its fee interest at 292 Madison Avenue.
