Speedus Corp. (Speedus) operates primarily through two subsidiaries, Zargis Medical Corp. and Density Dynamics Corporation. In 2001, the Company co-invested with Siemens Corporate Research, Inc., a subsidiary of Siemens Corporation, in Zargis Medical Corp. to develop advanced diagnostic decision support products and services for primary care physicians, pediatricians, cardiologists and other healthcare professionals. In March 2008, the Company acquired the Density Dynamics Corporation, a company engaged in the development of solid-state storage and inboard/outboard (I/O) acceleration technology.
