Description

StarTek, Inc. (StarTek) is a provider of business process outsourcing services to the communications industry. The Company’s service suite includes customer care, sales support, order processing, accounts receivable management, technical and product support and other industry-specific processes. The Company operates its business within three segments, based on the geographic regions in which its services are rendered: the United States, Canada and the Philippines (Offshore). As of December 31, 2008, its United States segment included the operations of its 13 facilities in the United States; its Canada segment included the operations of six facilities in Canada, and its Offshore segment included the operations of its facility in Makati City, Philippines. On February 25, 2009, the Company entered into an agreement to sell Domain.com, its wholly owned subsidiary, to A. Emmet Stephenson, Junior (Jr.).
