St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital (SJWH) helps its patients get back into a healthy realm. The acute care facility serves the residents of northern New Jersey. With some 230 beds and more than 400 physicians on staff, SJWH offers services including cancer care, neurology, radiology, surgery, rehabilitation, and senior care. It also includes an ambulatory center that offers minor surgery, infusions, and other outpatient procedures, as well as a sleep diagnostics center and affiliated home health and hospice agencies. Established in 1871, the Catholic hospital is part of the St. Joseph's Healthcare System, which is sponsored by the Sisters of Charity of Saint Elizabeth.
