StockerYale, Inc. (StockerYale) designs, develops and manufactures low power laser modules and related optics. The Company operates in three segments: lasers, photonic products and optical components. In the laser segment, the Company acts as an independent designer and manufacturer of Lasiris brand lasers and light emitting diode systems (LED) systems for the inspection, machine vision, medical and military markets. The photonic products segment, through its Photonic Products Ltd. subsidiary, distributes laser diodes and designs and manufactures custom laser diodes modules for industrial, commercial and medical applications. In its optical component segment, the Company develops and manufactures specialty optical fiber, fiber-based assemblies and diffractive optics, such as phase masks. The Company’s products serve a range of applications and industries, including machine vision and industrial inspection, biomedical, defense and security, and other commercial applications.
