Swift Resources Inc. (Swift) is an exploration-stage company engaged in the acquisition and exploration of mineral properties. As at June 30, 2009, the Company and Saturn Minerals Inc (Saturn), its joint venture partner, had received 254 coal prospecting permits covering 178,609 hectares in east central Saskatchewan. Each coal prospecting permit grants the Company rights to explore for coal within a specific area. The Company’s Hen Property is located in Central British Columbia, immediately south of Quesnel Lake, and approximately 30 kilometers northeast of the town of Horsefly. The Saskatoba Coal Project is located along the Saskatchewan/Manitoba border, Canada. The project encompasses 10 properties, totaling 120,000 hectares (1,200 square kilometers) in size.
