The Company, together with its subsidiaries, is engaged in property investment and development business in the People's Republic of China, excluding Hong Kong and Macau, and magazine publishing business in Hong Kong. Fortuna Plaza (formerly South China Landmark Plaza), an upscale seven-storey shopping complex, is the Company's major property development project. Its other projects include Cangzhou/Hebei property project and Chongqing Nanchuan property project. As of December 31, 2008, 89% of the available units of the Cangzhou/Hebei property project were sold. Some of its subsidiaries include Capital CEO Limited, Capital Entrepreneur Limited, Capital Publishing Limited, Capital Publishing Management Limited, Crystal Hub Limited, Ever Talent Limited and Grandbase Universal Limited.
