Boston Private Financial Holdings, Inc. (BPFH) is the bank holding company for Boston Private Bank & Trust Company (the Bank). In addition to the Bank, the Company has two consolidated investment management affiliates, and three consolidated wealth advisory affiliates. The Company conducts its business through its three segments: Private Banking, Investment Management and Wealth Advisory. In January 2011, the Company sold its interest in Coldstream Holdings, Inc. (Coldstream). On May 27, 2011, the Bank, merged, as the surviving bank, with Borel Private Bank & Trust Company (Borel), First Private Bank & Trust (FPB), and Charter Private Bank (Charter), all of which were also wholly owned subsidiaries of the Company. In May 2012, Bryn Mawr Bank Corporation acquired Davidson Trust Company from BPFH.
