Northern Trust Corporation (Northern Trust) is a financial holding company. The Company provides asset servicing, fund administration, asset management, fiduciary and banking solutions for corporations, institutions, families and individuals across the world. The Company conducts business through various United States and non-United States subsidiaries, including The Northern Trust Company (the Bank). The Company has operations in around 18 United States’ states; Washington, District of Columbia, and about 18 international locations in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and the Asia Pacific region. It focuses on servicing and managing client assets through two primary business units: Corporate & Institutional Services (C&IS) and Wealth Management. It provides Asset management and related services to Wealth Management and C&IS by a third business unit, Asset Management. It emphasizes quality through a service delivered by a fourth business unit, Operations & Technology (O&T).
