3D Systems Corporation (3D Systems) is a holding company that operates through subsidiaries in the United States, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. The Company designs, develops, manufactures, markets and services three-dimensional (3-D) printing, rapid manufacturing, and prototyping systems and related products and materials that enable three-dimensional objects to be produced directly from computer data without tooling, reducing the time and cost required to produce prototypes or customized production parts. Its customers use its systems to produce physical objects from digital data using computer-aided design (CAD) software, or other digital-media devices, such as engineering scanners and medical scanners.
