Description

Tenneco Inc. (Tenneco) designs, manufactures and sells automotive emission control and ride control systems and products. The Company serves both original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and replacement markets worldwide through brands, including Monroe, Rancho, Clevite Elastomers, and Fric Rottm ride control products and Walker, Fonostm, and Gillettm emission control products. As a parts supplier, the Company produces individual component parts for vehicles, as well as groups of components that are combined as modules or systems within vehicles. These parts, modules and systems are sold globally to OEMs and throughout all aftermarket distribution channels. In September 2008, it acquired the suspension business of Gruppo Marzocchi, a supplier of suspension technology for the two-wheeler market.
