Threshold Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is a biotechnology company focused on the discovery and development of drugs targeting the microenvironment of solid tumors as treatments for patients living with cancer. The Company has three product candidates, for which it has exclusive worldwide marketing rights: TH-302, a drug candidate that is activated under the hypoxic conditions typical of essentially all solid tumors; Glufosfamide, a small molecule prodrug for the treatment of pancreatic and a variety of other cancers, and 2-deoxyglucose (2DG), an orally administered small molecule that employs Metabolic Targeting to treat solid tumors by directly inhibiting glycolysis.
