Topspin Medical Inc. is an American-based medical company. The company has two privately owned subsidiaries, Topspin Medical (Israel) Ltd. and Topspin urology Ltd. The Group's main operations are focused on technology for Cardiology field, using an Intravascular MRI (IVMRI) enabling use of MRI technology without the need for an external MRI setup. In 2007, the Company signed an agreement with Johnson and Johnson Medical Israel for distribution, marketing and joint-funding of clinical trials of its IVMRI and submitted an application to the United States Food & Drug Administration. In 2006, the Group started development of a urology product based on its cardiology technology. In 2008, the Company began experiments of its product on human patients. As of April 28, 2008, the Company stopped all its medical development operations.
