Winbond Electronics Corp. is principally engaged in the research, development, design, manufacture and sale of integrated circuits (ICs) and related components. The Company primarily provides dynamic random access memory (DRAM) products, including mobile RAM products, specialty DRAM products and graphics DRAM products, as well as NOR flash memory products, among others. The Company's memory products are primarily applied in personal computers, wireless networks, set-top boxes, televisions and digital cameras, among others. During the year ended December 31, 2011, the Company obtained approximately 64.65% and 35.04% of its total revenue from DRAM products and NOR flash memory products, respectively. The Company distributes its products to Asia, the Americas and Europe.
