Trubion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Trubion) is a biopharmaceutical company creating a pipeline of protein therapeutic product candidates to treat autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, and cancer. The Company’s product candidates are small modular immunopharmaceuticals (SMIP). As of December 31, 2008, the Company’s therapeutics under development target specific antigens on B cells, such as CD20 and CD37, and are designed using its custom drug assembly technology. TRU-015, the Company’s principal product, has completed a Phase IIb clinical trial for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis (RA). In collaboration with the Company, Wyeth is also developing SBI-087, its CD20-directed product candidate. Its TRU-016 product candidate is a CD37- directed therapy for the treatment of B-cell mediated diseases, such as chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), and certain autoimmune and inflammatory disease indications.
