Description

Centrue Financial Corporation, is a bank holding company that operates through its wholly owned subsidiary, Centrue Bank (the Bank). The Bank is a state-chartered bank engaged in commercial and retail banking, and offers a range of lending, depository and related financial services, including accepting deposits; commercial and industrial, consumer and real estate lending; trust and asset management services, and other banking services tailored for consumer, commercial and industrial and public or governmental customers. The Company operates through four segments: Retail, Commercial, Treasury and Wealth Management. As of December 31, 2008, the Bank had 30 offices (28 full-service bank branches and two back-room sales support non-banking facilities) located in markets extending from the far western and southern suburbs of the Chicago metropolitan area across Central and Northern Illinois down to the metropolitan St. Louis area.
