Continental Gold Limited (Continental Gold), formerly Cronus Resources Ltd., is a development-stage company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of mineral properties in Colombia. The Company has nine gold projects covering over 124,450 hectares in Colombia. Its 100%-owned Buritica property is located 75 kilometers northwest from Medellin in Antioquia Department. Berlin is a 100%-owned, 28,695 hectare project located in Antioquia Department 90 kilometers north of Medellin. The Dojura Project consists of seven concession contracts totaling 44,893 hectares. As of December 31, 2010, the Company had interests in mineral properties, including a small scale mining operation related to exploration work and considered by the Company to be in the pre-production stage. On March 30, 2010, the Company completed an amalgamation with Cronus Resources Ltd. On April 12, 2010, Continental Gold completed the sale of a property contained within its Zaragoza property.
