Ivanhoe Mines Ltd. is a mineral exploration and development company focused on the exploration, development and recovery of minerals and precious gems from its property interests located primarily in Africa and Australia. The Company’s projects include, Kamoa Project consists of copper deposit with adjacent prospective exploration areas within the Central African Copperbelt, west of the town of Kolwezi and west of the provincial capital of Lubumbashi. It holds its 95% interest in the Kamoa Project through a subsidiary company, African Minerals Barbados Limited SPRL. Platreef Project includes the underground Flatreef Deposit of thick, platinum-group elements, nickel, copper and gold mineralization in the Northern Limb of the Bushveld Complex, northeast of Johannesburg, South Africa. The Kipushi Project lies adjacent to the town of Kipushi, and southwest of the provincial capital of Lubumbashi. Its exploration projects include Lufupa Sud Est (LSE), and Fold and Thrust Belt (FTB).
